Interesting. Thanks for the news. I think he was scheduled to face Halladay in that game, so I was probably going to bench him anyway. But now he can join the rest of my staff (Schmidt, Escobar, Hampton) on the unable-to-perform list.

Hate to double your bad news, but Halladay's start has been pushed back to Saturday. Patterson would have been going against 'Cy' Lilly.

AAaargh, you're right!!

Lilly is guaranteed win day for any opponent. There is no greater testament to how bad the '04 Jays were than that this guy was an 'all-star'.
