Who should I start at my utility spot today?

Postby jebatzel » Sun May 25, 2003 1:41 pm

Edgar Martinez who is batting .182 with 2 runs, double, and 3 rbis the past 7 days is facing Rick Reed today (@SEA)

Torri Hunter who is batting .375 with 2 runs, double, homerun and 4 rbis the past 7 days is facing Ryan Franklin today. (@SEA) (Who I have in at the moment)

Jose Hernandez is batting .190 with 3 runs, 3 homeruns, 6 rbis the past 7 days is facing Jesse Fopprt today. (has hit 5 of his 6 homeruns this season against lefties. Foppert pitches right.) (@COL)

I am losing runs 30 to 32, rbis 34 to 35, and homeruns 7 to 12

why?

Torri Hunter has been hitting the ball really well of late and had a 3 run homerun robbed from him 2 days ago on a great over the fence grab.

I forgot to say we are tied with triples at 0

Hunter probably is the best threat at getting a triple of any of those 3.

Edgar has struggled lately, and he's due for a good game. He's just such a pure hitter, I can't imagine he doesn't put up a 2 for 4, 2 for 5 with RBI double day. I guess you should play Hunter though if you want to try for a triple.

I am at work till 8pm, so I can watch the stats and see what I am going to need more.

I jumped ahead on rbis with Marcus Giles's 2 run homerun and behind one run as of now.

Yahoo private 12 team head to head league. (2th currently)

My Roster:

C Lo Duca, Paul (C, 1B-LA)
1B Giambi, Jason (1B, DH-NYY)
2B Giles, Marcus (2B-Atl) homerun, run, 2 rbis
3B Pujols, Albert (LF, 3B, 1B-StL)
SS Cabrera, Orlando (SS-Mon)
OF Everett, Carl (RF, CF, LF, DH-Tex)
OF Sheffield, Gary (RF-Atl)
OF Kearns, Austin (RF-Cin)
Util Hunter, Torii (CF-Min)
Bench Martinez, Edgar (DH-Sea)
Bench Hernandez, Jose (SS-Col)
Bench Konerko, Paul (1B-CWS)

might invest $8 for the live stat tracking and save me time.
