Irony Of The Week

Postby YankFan51 » Sun May 25, 2003 12:06 pm

In a league where I have no starting pitching aside from really Moyer, Schilling, and Pedro, plus some decent rookies and vets, Schilling is the one to destroy my chances of winning WHIP, Ls, and ERA. God, I shouldn't be down on him for a 3 run, 7 inning performance. But man, why was it the Tigers of the NL, minus their best 3 hitters?

Schilling will probably at best be around 20 wins and an ERA around 3.50. He gives up way too many homers to have an ERA less than 3.00 likely. So, his numbers right now are about what you should expect for the rest of the year.
