On Monday reports were that Harden would likely miss 2-3 starts. Seems things are a little worse than anticipated based on report in the Contra Costa Times.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The A's determined Rich Harden would miss more than the minimum two weeks with his strained oblique after seeing the results of an MRI today. "This is 15 days to six weeks. We'll just see how he progresses," trainer Larry Davis said.
It appears to be more of a four- to six-week injury. Keiichi Yabu might get a chance to make at least a couple of starts after all.
