I'm debating offering him up, and using Spivey and Alomar for 2B, since I think my offense is really good anyways. What kind of pitcher should I be looking for? My staff has Pedro, Schilling, Moyer, Graves, Webb, and Ishii

I'd be looking for something in the range of Wolf, Vazquez, Washburn or Odalis Perez for him. He's probably not worth a Mussina/Millwood/Morris level pitcher.
LoL, we already had that PM discussion. I would say that's what I'm looking for, although Vazquez is a definite no-no from his owner, and Odaliz/Wolf's owner has Durham, and I'm not too high on Washburn

Now way I give you Wolf or Vaz .. for Vidro .. unless my only 2B was Neifi Perez .. and I knew Durham was getting ready to be activated
Wolf will win 20 this year .. if Bowa will leave in .. "Managers Decsion?" fool

Agreed...I wouldn't give up any of those starters other than Washburnedout for Vidro
I dunno, I think I'm going to have to go against the grain on this one and say you could get a Wolf or Vazquez for Vidro, depending on the quality of 2b the other owner has. I think this is another case of underestimating and underappreciating Vidro. The guy's batting .333, tied for 5th in the NL. He's easily a top 5 player at a primo fantasy position. He doesn't get as much pub as say a Soriano or Kent but as far as 2B goes, he's certainly nothing to sneeze at. Obviously, if you have a Soriano or a Kent it's a no-brainer, don't do the deal. Even if you have someone competent at 2B, probably don't do it. But I think Vidro is worth a Wolf or Vazquez, given the circumstances.
You've got to give up quality to get quality, remember? Unless you're playing in some of the leagues I've seen mentioned on here.
The ironic thing is I don't even think I'd take Vazquez for Vidro. That may sound stupid, but I'm higher on Vidro hitting .320 than I am thinking a 10-13 pitcher from last year is gonna win 16-20 games. I know Vazquez is nasty, but he's still too inconsistant in my eyes. Why put a hole in 2nd base for the purpose of grabbing a pitcher I may not need?
What are your thoughts about Kevin Brown for Vidro?

since loses count, I'd go with Brownie. Otherwise, I'd probably take Vazquez due to Brown's injury history
