I didn't get catch the game until the very end, but on the Cleveland post game they said that Coco sprained his right thumb during the first inning, but then he didn't come out until the end of the sixth inning. Sounds like it shouldn't be too bad and that he might have been able to finish the game if the team needed him.

Let's just hope it really isn't anything too bad. :-o

But Coco could easily miss a few games over this even if it's not bad.

Well...I turn in a weekly lineup and since submitting it this week:
Crisp - Thumb, potentially miss a few
Thomson - 15 day DL
Guillen - likely to miss a few with muscle pull
C. Jones - out today with strained obliques...possibly miss a few?

And its only Tuesday... :~(

add to this misery...Hideki "can't seem to hit a freakin beach ball" Matsui , Curt "I think I may have retired without telling anyone" Schilling , Adrian "I used to hit HRs" Beltre, and Rodrigo "10 ERA in my last three outings" Lopez...and my roster is in great shape!! :-P

Well it looks like I was wrong about the severity of Coco's thumb. The Indians placed Coco on the 15 day DL today, and recalled Jody Gerut from AAA.

it's always seems to be a little worse than expected....

so much for Crisp's power for the rest of the summer.
