First pick Clint Barmes SS
First off he is a rookie and the wall will come. He will no doubt hold value being that he is a Rockie, but .386 with the power he has shown is way above the level he has ever produced. He definitely has a shot at staying above .300 for the season but the fall off from this point to there is going to make some owners wish they had sold high.

Jose Mesa, I mean come on. The guy is on the hot seat of losing his closing job yet hes tied for the lead in saves. He is aging extremely and seems to give up a lot of runs and blew lots of saves last year. Theres no way hell keep it up

Screw the Peavy and Burnett Watches, I'm probably one of the laziest people in the world
No, he is not going to keep this up the rest of the season (read: no way he gets 35 HR's, MAYBE 30). He's pretty old and he is still hitting under .300. If he keeps up at his currect pace, he would win the AL HR crown. Do you actually think that is going to happen?
Tino is a decent player (especially in NY) but there is no way in h*ll he is keeping this up.

He's mashing the ball right now but anyone who's owned this guy in the past knows that he's almost overdue for a DL stint or a month long AVG killing slump.

i think i disagree with the clark and garland nominations, but i think everyone can agree that brian roberts is never going to produce a stretch like this again in his career.

thanks for starting this, tav! great game. i also don't think floyd is "over his head". it's more like he's just "staying healthy". but i guess you could consider that meager feat to be a bit beyond what he's capable of considering recent past.
