Sometimes the name appears different, try closing photoshop and restarting it. Other than that I don't know what the problem could be.

I'm thinking about becoming a sig artist, although i don't know if its a big help to have photobucket? becuase it doesn't work on my laptop, also to make sigs does all the software u NEED take up alot of room, cause this thing can't hold much more crud .

I don't get step 5 at all! i have a pic of homer simpsons head, and theres white in the backround how do i get it too select just the head to copy and paste it on the sig??? and get rid of all that white!!! do i have too laso it all , that would be hard

There are actually ways to get around cutting if you're having severe, unbearable trouble with it or you're just lazy like I get sometimes, BUT I can't reveal those to you until you get the basics down pat, it would just confuse you even more. Don't worry you'll get there and I might make a tutorial for the shortcuts so stay tuned.

but yes a whole tutorial would be nice, i can't find one that makes sense and or doens't explain in enough detail. but yes cutting out the players is not my only problem obviously i've got many

Take it slow. You aren't going to becoming a great artist overnight, it's going to take time and patience. Hang in there and post some of your work so we can help you along the way.
