I have the opportunity to get him for ARAM and Harden, but I want to know his status.

You have the opportunity to be ripped off... Hold onto Harden and ARam.

If you take that deal, you are only stupider than the people who wasted a high draft pick on Schilling this season. I hope he gets gangreen in that leg and it has to be amputated

maybe then someone can take it and shove it in his mouth

I have Beltre at 3B and don't need ARAM. My offense is going off. I feel Schilling is the better pitcher of the two. Both are hurt, but to me Schilling is the better pitcher.

I like #38 too, but there isn't much talk about his status. I don't think he'll be back for another month. I doubt Francona is going to let him rush it this time.

Schilling will be reevaluated when the Sox return from their west coast road trip. That would be tomorrow or the next day. There should be some news then. Apparently he is still keeping "the boot" (his protective cast) on during the day for most of the day, and during workouts and such. I don't know the exact details on this but it doesn't sound great for his imminent return. I'd say he goes on a rehab assignment in a couple of weeks. There is talk of him returning as a middle reliever until he can get his stamina up to start. I'd give it another month before he returns to the rotation. Not good news for the Sox or anyone that drafted or traded for him this season.
