I used to subscribe to 2 services -- but I find information moves more quickly on THIS site.

Guys are watching games and entering injury info. immediately. Folks report back from their local news etc... if you are looking for 1-stop shopping, this forum is still unbeatable.

George_Foreman wrote:only things i would find it useful for (read: found it useful for last year when it was free) is the player rater and the most added/dropped. these two give you an idea of how the "fantasy world" views some players. sometimes the info is useful for making trade deals and whatnot, and the player rater really is a good way to see how different players have been doing over a given period of time.

other than that, comperable and often times better analysis is available here at the cafe.

I've been using the same free stuff you mention. Love the added/dropped and "view all trades" functions. Someone on this site linked me to those I reference them constantly.

Good to know I'm better off saving my money then. Those dang blurbs are just so enticing though.. and not being allowed to see the whole articles was making me even more eager to find out what was going on behind the VIP door.

I agree the Cafe is the best resource out there. I play with a few of my buddies and I keep this site a secret from them. Can't have them stumbling onto this little gold mine. :-b

I'll tell them next season... maybe.

I found the trade intel in the leagues very useful for proposing my own trades, the player ranker didn't seem to equate very well into my yahoo leagues though....... not that the Yahoo ranks are particularlly useful in non standard leagues anyways.

I used it primarily for hockey and found their reports weren't always accurate, and slower to "market" then some of the free services out there.

Now I go without.
If you found my advice helpful, please help me

Who wrote Out of the Box last year, I kinda actually liked reading it although i didnt take it totally seriously. That Cockcroft guy is horrible and I dont even read it anymore. Karabell isnt anything special either, just another average fantasy guy like you and me that somehow gets to express his opinion on a major website. So overall, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO that junk isnt worth it. The Cafe is 100 times better and is definitely the best fantasy information website I have ever ran across
