I Really Think Glaus Became An Overall Hitter Last October

As a Yankee fan, this big ass prick couldn't do no wrong come post-season against us, and other teams. It seemed to me he had limited his strikeouts, and was putting the ball in play. That got me thinking he might be able to put up some of his best numbers ever this year. Since I had Pujols in many, Glaus wasn't a priority, but I looked and saw this dude is hitting over .300 this year. I really think he turned the corner last October, and may in fact become the best fantasy third baseman once Pujols is no longer eligibile. I know people look at his .250 seasons and turn away from him, but I seriously think he's a new Glaus.

I know a few baseball people really expected him to breakout this year. Seems like he has been around a while. I find it strange how he had a monster year(47 hr's) and then 2 sub par seasons(for him). A lot of people were wondering if this guy had the skills to make it back. It looks like he may have learned a few things and has turned the corner. I think you are right, he will be the 3rd baseman to get with Pujols not in the mix next year.

Didn't Pujols used to Catch at one time too?

The guy who is facing me this week has Glaus, so today's game hurt me.

Even though he only hit .250 last year and his homers were down, he did have a career high for RBIs.

Last week he batted .550, scored 9 runs, had 4 doubles, 4 homeruns, and had 8 rbis.
