I guess this would be interesting if he got some time. A couple years ago he was a legit SS with a ok future until they picked up Clayton and Councel.

I'd be surprised if the DBacks gave away Cintron for nothing in return, but I guess you never know.
The Cubs are optimistic on two fronts -- that Zambrano will start in one of the three games this weekend at Wrigley Field against the White Sox and that they will have a new backup infielder, perhaps as soon as today, when they open a two-game series in Pittsburgh. The paperwork has yet to be finalized, but the Cubs expect to make a deal without giving up any players in return.

If I were a big-league team, I wouldn't take Baker if you GAVE me the chicken and lawn chair.
Wouldn't want him f'ing up my rotation, too.
