Jose Guillen to sit out a couple

Postby colt4523 » Tue May 17, 2005 1:20 am

According to rotoworld, Guillen is going to sit out a couple games because of his ribs. A day late for me but owners in day to day leagues should sit him. I hope he does not take the entire week off :-[

Thanks for the heads up. Here's the Fanball link if anyone wants it.

May 17 Nationals outfielder Jose Guillen will miss the next three games due to a muscle pull in his right rib cage and sore left triceps. The injuries are rendering him ineffective, and he knows sitting is best for the club. "I'm really banged up. It's going to be the best for me and the team," Guillen told "I'm going to shut it down and start working with the doctor and see if I could get better. I really can't swing the bat right now." He hopes to return Friday.
Views: Fantasy owners can expect the platoon of Marlon Byrd and Ryan Church to both start over the next three days, and we'll continue to check in with Guillen.

:-o :-o I had to move Figgins back to the starting lineup :-o :-o

At least it's against a righty tonight... :~(
