Considering he throws the ball 1000s of time a year, it is a just weird. Though there was a guy that broke his arm throwing a pitch just a few years ago. Forgot the guys name, but I do remember that.

I think Tom Browning had a career ending broken arm while throwing a pitch.

I think I remember Tony Saunders breaking his arm throwing a pitch as well for the DRays a few years ago.

He did it TWICE! Saw this Outside the Lines piece on him. Watching that footage is one of the grossest things I've ever seen. You can hear the pop as he follows through and then he's just on the ground screaming in pain. They showed him last attempting a comeback in the O's system.

A guy in my league has Schmidt, Sheets, Harden, Wood and Mota. Tell me THAT doesn't suck.

He also has F-Rod who might be heading to the DL also.
