After several changes... am i in shape?

Postby bunter » Mon May 16, 2005 1:01 pm

I did some changes... i'm last in basically all the offensive cats.

Jorge Julio will clear the waivers tuesday. I planned to drop Gonzalez for him.

Also, would like to pick up Rios and dropped Jones once i'll know if Mota is coming back friday as expected.

So what do you think of all this... and of my team in general?

I like your team. You have a couple of places where you could improve if you wanted to. I am a bit concerned about Felipe Lopez at 2B, will he continue to keep playing, thats my question? Nice OF, but Rowand lacks a lot of punch to be in the UT spot, I just dont see him matching last years output. Your pitching is great as long as no more of your big guns get hurt. I am guessing this team is great in HR's, OPS, and RBI, but hurting a bit in average and steals. I hope Dotel straightens out for you. ;-D

In fact... i'm dead last in average, second last in runs and in the middle of the standings for HR... in the bottom part for RBI.

Do you think that adding Rios once i know that Mota is coming back friday will help?

I badly need to have this offense to start produce soon.

I dont know, in my 14 team 6X6 roto league, Rios was recently dropped for Craig Monroe, who will outperform Rios in every category except SB and AVG (and even avg is questionable). I just dont see Rios as being that big of a help when he really doesnt have much pop. If you are desperate for avg help, consider packaging Sheets and an OF together for Ichiro or maybe Todd Helton (use Helton at UT).

Whats your priority? Your goal at this point?
