Orlando Cabrera Is About to Rise Up

through 135 ab, he's mired in a .237 avg, with 3hr, 3sb, and most astonishing to me, only 12 runs.

he has a bit of a hit streak going, and i'm presuming he'll pick it up. the line-up that surrounds him is sensational; and when reviewing last year's numbers, consider this snippet from scouts, inc:

The midseason change of scenery seemed to do his bat good. He hit .294 after joining Boston, with as many RBI (31) in 58 games as he'd had in 103 games for the Expos.

a nice strong finish to the season. in his 2003 campaign, he didn't really get it going until the end of may. i have a hunch. the hunch says it's about to happen again.

yeah, yes...

I sure as hell hope so because I panicked when I didn't see any SS left and took him way too early. Not knowing that my Jose Reyes taken earlier had SS elegibility also. I was also high on Brian Roberts 30 steal posibility coming into this year. Could have had that man offensive explosion by luck.

Well I took Nomar 4th round and realized for some reason Cabrera was still on the board in the 20th. I guess guys liked Carlos Guillen and Bobby Crosby better.

With him and Izturis, the Nomar injury doesn't hurt as bad.

I'm sure glad I dropped him for Barmes earlier this year.
