can a team catch up from 100k deficit at this point

Postby Euclid » Mon May 16, 2005 11:58 am

i just noticed i'm down 100k's from first place in k's and i was wondering if anyone has ever made up for that kind of deficit. The team in first has burnett, peavy, zambrano, willis and garland. My team which has been hurt has sheets, k wood, oliver perez, vazquez and morris. I was just throwing this out there out of curiousity since i've heard k's is one of the hardest things to catch up on.

Another thing to check is how many Innings has he used? I know that in a few of my leagues I'm facing the same kind of deficits in K's and W's but the guy in first for W's and K's has used 350 innings to my 275 so far... You can check his IP on his main team page at the bottom by clicking the link for Max games and innings

you may not catch first place, but with those pitchers you should gain in the standings by the end of the year.... no need to worry just yet imo....

with the way injuries have been, why not? 100 is a lot, but it isn't absurd, especially if that guy loses a player or trades a pitcher.
