According to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, "It took Olivo half of May to get his first hit of the month. And when Olivo finally got it yesterday, it was a little dribbler that somehow squirreled its way through the left side of the infield, driving in a run and setting a four-run inning in motion. An 0-for-27 slump now history, Olivo homered in his next at-bat and ripped a double later, leading the offensive charge in Seattle's series-clinching victory over the Red Sox. Olivo has Boston first baseman Kevin Millar to thank for it. Millar and Olivo were talking before Saturday's game, and Millar suggested Olivo needed to open his stance slightly and hold his bat a little higher."
Someone might want to remind Millar what team he plays for.
No big thing, guys do this all the time. And they always have for the most part. We hear the stories about the old timers who automatically hated everyone except their teammates, but that's mostly an old wives' tale.
Hopefully (as a Sox fan) Olivo continues his "surge" for the next few days against the Pinstripes.

What's really funny is that Millar attributes his succes in the 2nd half last year to Olivo. He started last year with a closed stance, but watched Olivo bat with an open stance and decided to open up his
stance. The 3 HR game against NY followed shortly after. Now Olivo started this year with a closed stance so Millar advised him to go back to the stance that had inspired him the year before
