Just lost three categories by a single stolen base, two wins, and 5 strikeouts...... geez. So I go 2-10 rather than 5-7. Still a bad week either way but 2-10 really sucks.
If you get a league of people you know, it's really fun. I like to check everyday to see what happened, who's winning. etc. I love to trash talk my friends when I'm winning and blame Dusty when I lose.
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.
H2H is the better format IMO. It's more realistic to go up against other lineups. Luck is a bigger factor due to weekly match ups but that resembles real baseball. The format keeps more teams in the hunt and allows bad teams to play a spoiler later in the season.
It does suck when you lose but put up numbers that would beat everyone else in the league except your opponent. HOwever, it does average out and if you have a good team overall, put up the numbers each week, you will be successful.

Agreed. Playing in a HTH keeper league myself, and enjoy it far more than roto.
Third year as commish in an H2H that consists of a bunch of my old high school buddies.
There's simply nothing better for trash-talking and keeping the league active. We're over 210 posts on our Yahoo! board already, and that doesn't include the separate website I keep as a fake new source (yeah, I have an addicition).
My favorite part of the league is that it's weekly locked rosters. Initially I did this because I knew we would have a few "casual" players, but I love the strategy involved with doing this. Having to pick matchups at the beginning of the week is pretty cool.

Word! I just can't get into roto. Plus, there are so many different ways to win H2H. In roto, you're kind of limited since you can't punt categories...
