He's been starting at second base for the last couple of weeks, dude.

And, although he did go through that 1-20 slump (or whatever it was)...he was still hitting the ball hard, and having some good at bats. Lately, he's just been crushing the ball, almost every time he swings. The ball just flies off his bat.

Considering his age, he's a very good prospect. He's not going to hit a lot of homers or walk a lot...but he's got a very nice swing, and makes contact very well. A good average with a lot of doubles can be expected. Being in the Yankees lineup, plenty of runs and RBI are likely, as well.

No Cano, is good Cano.....with Gary Gnu....whoops wrong person.

Seriously, as a Yankee fan, I have been hearing about Cano for quite some time. He is capable of being the goods. And is proving that all he needed was some time to adjust. He is certainly not the prospect at 2nd that Weekes, Barfield or Utley are, but he is worthy of a flier.

When Sierra comes back do they send Cano back down to AAA and put womack at second? Seems like Cano's AB's will be limited pretty soon here.

Hell no, isn't Andy Phillips still on the roster?

Womack, no question about it. 2B/OF eligibility and a better spot in the batting order most of the time. Plus he will be among the better base stealers in baseball.
