Can I expect him to get up closer to his career avg. or is this it? Seems like he was keeping it up around .270 for a while prior to last year. What should I expect?

He'll hit higher than .230, but not too much, i bet. I'm trying to deal him and let Dunn take over at 1B.

New league + Safeco + most of 2004 off = ?????
Sexson should finish higher than .230, but there are several excuses why he could continue to struggle. If he can stay healthy, I predict that he'll bat .258 the rest of the season.

if he hits 40hr, then i don't really care.
i have enough other guys that are hitting for average. sexson is doing what he does: power minus average.

Sexson is starting to heat up. I can't see the mariners sucking all year they have a pretty good line-up but hey maybe they will. Either way sexson will hit better than .230.

If I can get 40+ homers and above a .250 average, especially after switching leagues/teams and coming back from injury

Sexson had a back injury?
He'll hit around .250 for sure. Still a huge injury risk.
