Firmly in the Abreu camp. If Beltran was still with the Astros, then I could maybe see him getting 30 SBs. But given Willie's aversion to running, I see him with ~10-15 tops. Then you take into consideration that Abreu will likely hit 20 points higher than Carlos, it's a slam dunk.
Any chance Abreu is being over valued a little because for the last week he's been hitting like a god?

come on fellas...even if beltran has a fiery finish and ends up with 25+ SB's....he's still doesnt hit for avg barely flirting with 300 any year in his career thus far....and abreu's always done that consistently showing ability to hit in the 320's.......and lets not get onto the topic of OBP.....beltran at his best..389...and then no where near...abreu as a CAREER avg...413...i think i'm done here...
wait..i guess i could give beltran some points for hittin for power...but i mean abreu makes it up for some killer numbers hittin those doubles.....but i do have to say beltran is far from done(potential wise)...and he could prove me wrong..but i dont think he'll ever get on base like abreu does.....
Caught a lot of slack in the preseason for saying that Abreu would be slightly better than Beltran. People seemed to think that 04 was his career year but he was destined to get better in the hitter's park.
