I was offered pavano for adam eaton and I rejected it. I am still trying to buy low on him but I think eaton will end up with better numbers. One more bad start and maybe I can get him for contreras

"His last 3 starts in New York he has given up 19 runs in 16 innings."
Yeah, but like 40 percent of those runs were officially unearned (the result of errors) or the result of bad plays. Perfect example: in the first inning of the last game against Seattle, they would have had Ichiro out at first, but Pavano missed covering first base. Then, ARod blows a double play ball. That should have been the inning. Instead, Sexson gets up and hits a 3-run blast.
I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.

IMO, Pavano is a good buy low candidate. As the Yankees are turning their season around, I expect Car's #'s to improve. Some of his runs allowed have come on the heels of rather poorous defense.
The Clement comparison is a good one.

Why do the good pitchers suck when the Yankees get them. Or is it that they sucked before and they just show their true colours with the yanks. Like the unit not having a single strike out the other day that is crazy talk.

Randy pitching a game and not striking anyone out... isn't that like a sign of the apocalypse or something
