I'm just wondering... trying to get a relative idea of other leagues because I've made by far the most moves in mine, and I take a bit of crap for it from one of the other managers.
There's no limit on moves in our league, though, and my team was god-awful after the auto-draft. I've gotten guys like Barmes, Clark, Myers, Bedard, Berkman, and Patterson off waivers, but it's taken a little while to get there. As always, some pickups worked out, plenty of them burned me. But now my team is winning a lot of matches...
Anyway, if you've made a few moves, care to volunteer how many?
Edit: By the way, this is a weekly league... We can't sub out pitchers all the time or anything like that. Sometimes I go for a promising two-start pitcher, but I purposely keep one spot on my roster open for that....

Thanks for the reply...
14 is maybe a little high in my league, where the average is probably more like 10. 68 seems pretty high, but speaking from experience, I know everyone has his or her own style.
As for me, I've made a whopping 38 moves so far, but I haven't had to do anything for about a week now because my team is really taking off. I was just wondering if the criticism of making more moves than anyone else is warranted. This is a 14-team H2H.
I've made over 100 already. My league has no limit and does not approve trades. So on off days and double-headers I load up my lineup with players from the teams that do play.
I lead my 12 team H2H league in transactions with 23. The average is 12.6666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666 . . . . . . . . . .
Made 45 moves, lead the league. Avg is 20 moves per team. Active league.
I made alot of moves b/c I traded away my 2 closers, and was desperatly searching for 1, traded for nathan but wasn't enough, finally struck gold with Turnbow and looks to be Hermanson.
From my experience the managers who make the most moves vye for the title. I average about 75 moves per season. As an example, last night I picked up C. Tracy to play in Colorado tonight, and sat P. Felix against Clemens. Tracy will be dropped tomorrow. Felix went 0/4, Tracy went 2/6, 2R, & 2RBI
