Well we're 6 weeks in now, and I think some of us want to brag about their draft day steals, and cry about their draft day busts.
Ya, Brian Roberts is arguabbly the steal of the draft, and Im sure all of you knew it when you drafted him in the 13rd round.
So lets try to keep it honest, Did you grin when you drafted AJ in the 10th? Did you think you had pulled a fast one when you drafted Hafner in the 7th? Gagne in the 4th?
Well here's my "honest" list (players achieving about what you expected and drafted late just because you thought no-one else would) ... yes I own Roberts but I did not draft him with expectations like this so he will be off my list.
Studs:
AJ Burnett - 10th Round
Burrell -23rd (thats 2 years in a row he went that late)
Pedro- 2nd Round
Webb - 19th

It's obviously too early to tell but... Burrell seems to cool off after a fast start. I'm sure he will hit 30 HRs but his average has been declining since day 1. Blalock will come around. Don't worry.
We kept 6 players and one of them was Beltre. Wells 8th, Vmart, 10th, are the only true busts I have on my roster.
As for studs... Beckett 7th, AJ 9th, Ryan 11th, Roberts 16th, Mauer 19th, Barmes 21st... Bonus , we are resetting all our keepers for next season except for one rookie so if Barmes turns out to be a good player, then I'm golden.

11team league, curently in 4th place
Studs:
Bradley-17th round
Sweeney- 18th round
Burnett- 7th round(maybe a little early at the time, but everyone in my league knew that I loved him)
Vazquez- 10th(if you take out his 1st outting, his putting up #1 starter numbers)
Webb- 15th round
as of right now, these 5 guys are carrying my team
Busts:
Schilling- 3rd round
D.Wright- 8th round(hes solid, but I didnt draft him for the .248avg right now)
Beltran- 4th overall(not really a bust, but I drafted him expecting huge numbers and he has dissappointed me so far)
Smart trade, getting Overbay and Werth for Dave Roberts and Jaret Wright
Dumb trade, giving up Vazquez and Taveras for Radke
Smart fa pickup, Myers and Alfonso
Dumb fa pickup, Moyer and Halama, one win out of Halama, but benched Mesa for the week and he got three saves with a better WHIP and ERA.
Unexpected studs for me have been Webb and Lo Duca. Not too sure whether to include Soriano, I did draft him first round after all.
Busts - Maggs, Wood, Zito, Wells, Drew. Also got Huff in a trade and he's been rather dissapointing. Unlucky huh? I just traded for Chavez too, could it possibly get worse???
Most of my good stuff has been done on the wire. Guys like Lane, Patterson, Izturis, Utley and Dellucci have all carried my team at one point or another.

1) I said I wasn't going to take a 3rd basemen until late. 2) I thought Beltre was overrated before I even drafted.
Why???? Definitely my draft jitters.
I am right there with you buddy. Play in four leagues, have Beltre in all of them. I got him generally in the early third, but he has been awful. I also decided not to draft him, but he was just sitting there at what I felt lower than he should be.
I knew he was overrated, but I guess I gave too much weight to Ron Shandler's projections:
316, 94 r, 36, 114.
.316???
Yeah right. He would have to hit about 400 the rest of the season.
