Manager Charlie Manuel said yesterday that Chase Utley is going to be the everyday second baseman. It's just a matter of when.
Utley sat yesterday in place of Placido Polanco, but it may not happen many more times. ''Eventually, and I don't know when, Utley is going to be our everyday second baseman,'' Manuel said. ''I don't know exactly when that day is. I can't say. But he will be the regular second baseman in time.'' He's probably foreshadowing the inevitable trade of Polanco.

Seriously, how can they keep putting this guy on the bench. He's putting up great numbers when he plays. I KNOW they have to play Polanco to make him worth something, but they can't stick Ut at 1st or something while Thome is out? Ugh.
