Penny or Miller?

Postby jimmyvegas » Sat May 14, 2005 5:34 am

I've got a VERY solid staff at the moment, but Im looking to round it out. I picked up both Brad Penny and Wade Miller, have kept Miller on the DL so I could evaluate both guys for a week (much too short I know but I dont have any options) I feel theres two factors that come into play....injury risk and potential success.

I was pretty high on Penny last year. He's not always pretty but he finds a way to get the job done. On the other hand, I really like Miller with the support of the Red Sox offense. Admittedly, Im not a statistical guy. But if any of you have some stats, I'd love to see them. All opinions welcome...just need some outside viewpoint

Thanks guys
