Money league 10 team H2H 6x6 (standard cats + holds & OPS)

This is my money league, current rank #1, but my offense has been sputtering.... getting a little lucky winning some of those cats)

M. Piazza (NYM - C,1B) (sell high?)
T. Hafner (Cle - 1B) (hot for a week.... cold for 5)
O. Hudson (Tor - 2B) (value grab)
B. Roberts (Bal - 2B) (carrying me right now)
H. Blalock (Tex - 3B)
P. Feliz (SF - 1B,3B,SS,OF) (thank god for his SS eligibility)
O. Cabrera (LAA - SS) (arrgh!)
P. Burrell (Phi - OF) (3rd in NL in rbis.... but all in the first 2 weeks)
S. Podsednik (CWS - OF)
B. Giles (SD - OF) (finally heating up)
P. Wilson (Col - OF)
V. Guerrero (LAA - OF
H. Matsui (NYY - OF) (still holding)
R. Klesko (SD - 1B,OF) (Hafner/Klesko platoon)
N. GarciaparraDL (ChC - SS)

B. Colon (LAA - SP)
B. Webb (Ari - SP)
P. Martinez (NYM - SP)
A. Burnett (Fla - SP)
K. Brown (NYY - SP)
R. Johnson (NYY - SP)
E. Bedard (Bal - SP)

O. Dotel (Oak - RP)
Y. Brazoban (LAD - RP) (let him go and grab R.Wanger for Holds?)
D. Hermanson (CWS - SP,RP) (took a chance that he was gonna be the man and traded Krod this week)
Gagne (LAD-RP)

First, let me drool over your pitching. Pedro, Unit, and Burnett. Wow! I like Bedard to continue his breakout this year and Webb to revert back to 2003 form. Not a fan of either Colon or Pineiro, so I'd drop Pineiro for Gagne. Brown's been really unlucky this year, but his K/BB ratio >3 actually looks decent. If he can stay healthy, he might be a nice steal for you.

Offense needs some help, but it's not bad. Matsui's too good of a hitter to stay in this slump. And as you mentioned, Giles is starting to come around also. Nomar's injury really hurt you -- otherwise you'd really be sitting pretty. I think you're 1 really good hitter away from staying dominant.

If you really believe in Bedard (which I do), then look to trade one of your stud SPs for a stud hitter. I would want somebody of the caliber of Cabrera though -- if it takes throwing in a Preston Wilson, etc.. then do it. I'm sure there are guys on your waiver wire that are of or close to equal value.

Agreed. Excellent pitching. I'd say you get rid of either Klesko (while he's hot) or Hafner (or both) and a pitcher in exchange for a top 1b. Mike Sweeney, David Ortiz are both good bets. Maybe even Pujols, depending on which pitcher you're willing to give up.

I would drop pinerio over brown right now. At least brown will get better run support and has had a small glimpse of being able to pitch while pinerio has been pretty much awful.
You may want to pick up Huston Street or Reitsma, instead of Wagner since they will get you some holds and potential become closers.

Hey thanks for the input.

Ya the offense is sputtering big time now, I lost almost all offensive cats last week by a wide margin. Hell my opponent grabbed tino on monday and he put better numbers then half my offense.

Im not sure what the best move is to make right now to bring in offense. My initial thought was to move Roberts, but he's really carrying the offense right now, and Im beginning to believe that he will continue a high level of production.

Randy J/ Pedro (my two obvious trade pieces both have had a couple of subpar starts) This league is primarily NY/NJ players so they are all very well informed on Randy and Pedro develops.

I would keep brazoban. He has shown that he is a competent RP and he will be the setup man for gagne, so he will get you a ton of holds.

Ya your right, Im gonna hold him, he still has value in this league & is an insurance policy for Gagne.

Its really the offense that is just killing me.

On paper I believe this offense should be fine to carry me for the season, so Im relucant to make a move, but maybe my perceptions are wrong.
