How many relief pitchers can you start and how are you doing in the Save category? Shields is great, but your SPs are strong enough that you don't really need him. The only thing I worry about on this trade is losing ground with Saves. But getting Crawford for Delgado is a coup -- see if you can get a lower tier closer (like Borowski or Baez) instead. If you feel you can effectively compete with just Lidge and Gagne, then pull the trigger. If he would do Delgado+Wagner for just Crawford, that would be even better.

As far as Pavano goes, I'm not sure what you can really get for him. Look for somebody who's hurting for wins and convince him that Pavano with the great Yankees offense behind him is his savior. Without knowing the exact standings of each category, it's tough for me to give any additional advice.

THANX!
Here are my league stats, out of 9 people in my league

X-Men
2-Runs
1-HR
1.5-RBI
3.5-SB
8-AVG
5.5-Wins
2-Saves
2-K's
6-ERA
2.5-WHIP

I dont have Wagner, but I have Graves....maybe Delgado and Graves for Crawford??? What do you think? I know I am low in saves, but Gagne will help! You can start 2 RP 2 SP and 3 Of either type.......As you can see I need some power hitters....who can I move from my team to get players I need,,,,,what would you suggest?

If you are comfortable with Justin at 1b, do the deal with either Graves or Foulke, given keith's history, he could go right off the deep end and lose the closers job in Boston anyways, while i doubt he will, you never know. Graves? You got to figure he will be traded as the season goes along, the Reds will not keep paying him, and he has not been setting the world on fire anyways, but someone in the race somewhere will need a closer. Do the Foulke/Delgado or Graves Delgado deal for Crawford. But like i said, only if you are sold on Justin being there for you. Out of curiosity, any closers on the wire? Maybe Borowski who is surely going to be given the closer duties since no one in Chicago land knows how to do it.

Little help for me please?

I think Ichiro helps your team a lot more than Crawford does. You could use the boost in BA and you are doing fine in SBs without Crawford.

It would be helpful to repost your new team since you've made so many changes since the original post.
