I dont see enough love for this kid. Everywhere I look theres a Brian Roberts thread, but what about Barmes? Another big game for him with 2 HR, 5 Rbi and brought his average up to .400. I know Roberts has been stellar thus far, but lets hear some love for Barmes.

Don't worry, he'll get his respect elsewhere...like from the rookie of the year voters and from the allstar voters (or coaches voting) and from being the nl's best shortstop this season...

This argument is stale bread.

I don't think it's fair to say that he's just a product of Coors. His road splits aren't that bad... Not nearly the same as most other Colorado hitters. Actually, he did pretty well on that last road trip.

Granted the Coors effect helps him no question, but his BA has been very good on the road as well. Colorado's offense just hasnt been able to do much all year. But so what if he plays at Coors. He's still awesome.

Well, there's alot love here for Barmes. His road average (.333) is higher than Vlad (.321), Beltran (.329), and Arod (.231) and that's saying something for his hitting ability. That's for a middle infielder that was on most folk's waiver wire.

I wonder who will fade first and fall furthest, he or Roberts?
I'm gonna have to say Barmes will fall faster. Roberts is in a very good Line-up.
