Maybe I'm lucky I just traded him for Halladay...
May 13 Glaus (strained tendon behind left knee) will receive a cortisone injection after Saturday's Diamondbacks-Rockies game and will not play on Sunday, the Arizona Republic reports.
Recommendation: Glaus has been bothered by the injury for a few days now, but has refused to come out of the lineup. Manager Bob Melvin told the East Valley Tribune that when Glaus decelerates while running, "it gets to him a little bit ... but it's nothing that inhibits what he is doing out there. The doctors are fine with it." The D-Backs have an off day on Monday, so the timing of Glaus' cortisone injection will give him two days of rest to help the knee heal.
