cbs recently brought into focus the logjam forming in the cleveland outfield.
when the dust settles, who do you anticipate will be left standing? my hunch is crisp, sizemore and gerut--all of whom will have decent numbers by year's end.
slomo, you need to update your kearns-watch. he's down to .213, 5hr, 15 rbi, 13r. come on, man. you're carrying the torch; you gots to be on point!
i agree, re: the juan-gon injury stuff, but blake stands to rebound and make it a tougher fight. and lord, if juan-gon gets healthy, it'll be a real mess.

Sorry, it's almost too depressing to update. Maybe I jinxed him?
I agree- Crisp in LF, Sizemore in CF (and leadoff) and Gerut in RF gives the Indians one of the best young defensive OF in the game. And they should be able to hit as well. Move Blake to 3B, boone to minors or utility and let em' rip. I expect Cleveland's offense to go on a bloody tear soon. Gerut's arrival could trigger that.
Unless Juan Gone is injured, I just cannot see Cleveland parking him on the bench. I think that one of Sizemore or Crisp (unless he shows drastic improvement) will be the odd-man out.
I tend to disagree. Juan Gone will be released. Cleveland is not going to block the development of one of their young stars for a broken down Juan Gone. I believe JG had a window of opportunity but he is well beyond that know with his lame start to the year.
Expect Juan Gone to get traded to the Yankees to be their DH if he comes back healthy. That's my guess.

The same things were said of Tampa (not regarding Juan, off course). As for him being traded to the Yankees, forget it. George has a very long memory. Juan would get eaten alive in NY.
I would think that it would be Crisp Sizemore and Gerut. They will do what they can to get Juan Gone into the lineup when healthy at Sizemore's expense but he will be often injured.
