That is a very silly thing to say. Of course he hasn't been good for 3 years since he's been injured all that time. Duh.
Kearns has been killed by injuries. Not too many people know this but he was a higher regarded prospect than Dunn was (although it was close).
I think that maybe he's playing scared? Maybe he just hasn't gotten into a groove due to the mounting injuries over the years? Struggling and then losing your job also doesn't help your confidence.
A change of scenary may do him good. I still think he has enough talent to turn it around this season. If you have room, stash him on the bench and see what happens.
