Ok, only five teams in my league so keep that in mind when my team is full of stars.

1B- D. Ortiz
2B- C. Barmes
3B- C. Koskie
SS- M. Tejada
IF- M. Teixeira
LF- C. Crawford
CF- J. Edmonds
RF- Reggie Sanders
OF- A. Dunn
OF- C. Patterson
OF- C. Floyd
Util- S. Green
Util- D. Lee
Util- T. Martinez

BN- P. Burrell
BN- M. Bradley
BN- M. Loretta
BN- S. Finley
BN- M. Young
BN- S. Rolen

SP- C. Zambrano
SP- J. Santana
SP- C. Carpenter
RP- M. Rivera
RP- D. Baez
RP- M. Batista
P- C. Pavano
P- R. Harden

Yesterday I just traded Mike Lowell and Fransisco Rodriguez for Scott Rolen. It was prolly a bad move but I was doing horrible at 3rd base and needed someone.

btw, it is a 5-team points league.

For a 5 team league, you could probably upgrade the pitching. I don't think Pavano will fare to well this year, but i guess time will tell. Wait a while and see how they do.

Not thrilled with the recent trade especially with Rolen's history of shoulder injuries and your weak RPs. I agree with the above post that your pitching staff is a little weak on the back end (and you must hope that Schmidt can regain his form and stay healthy). I would definately try to pick up another closer - maybe there is someone better on the WW than Baez. Nothing wrong with him other than TB is a miserable team. Who is available on the WW- both pitching/hitting?

ok, just picked up Hermanson last night.

Also forgot to say that I got Cliff Floyd out of the trade because that was his player to drop.

Still in first.

Okay there so many things to say about the FA SP and RP

Pick up Brett Myers, Lieber and maybe Bonderman.

I would consider dropping Pavano, he's not going to do as well as

expected.

Pick up Derrick Turnbow and drop Hermanson.

Yeah, pick up Myers. That one's easy.

Not sure if Lieber is good enough in your league though, he's usually just average. Bonderman has more upside than Lieber.

Cordero is young and dominating this season, but it depends how many closers you want to carry.

Good info here from brycehearn. Definitely grab Myers and Bonderman and pass on Lieber.

I would definitely take Cordero over Baez though.

Brett Myers on the FA wire 8-o , at this point of the season he needs to be on a roster in almost any format. Grabbing Bonderman is an easy decision as well. I would drop Baez for either Cordero or short term Turnbow.
As a huge Mets fan it pains me to say this, but are there any catchers on the FA wire? Piazza can put up huge numbers when he gets hot but has been miserable thus far. Perhaps you could bench him until he gets going. I would keep your eye on Bedard as well who has been on a roll. The key will be how he pitches against Boston/New York instead of dominating Tampa and Toronto. Who else is out there on the FA wire (pitchers and bats)?
