St Louis fans?

Postby YGB45 » Fri May 13, 2005 8:59 am

Although I've only been here a few days, it has become obvious theres quite a few StL fans about.
This thursday I'm heading up to the ballpark to see my beloved Phils take on the Cards. I JUST CAN'T WAIT!!! My stomach is already growling for those good-googily-moogily-how-much? dogs, peanuts, and beer. :-B Not to mention to see some dog-gone fine ball playing. ;-D

So let the games begin!

I wouldn't say that there are any more Cards' fans here than there are Cubs' fans. I think there are more Yankees and BoSox fans (fairweather or otherwise) here than anything.

Whatever the case, may your day at the park be miserable as you witness the Cards thrash the Phillies. But while the Cardinals are winning, I guess it would be ok for Utley to have a HR or two during the series.

:D

Would that be Mulder vs. Wolf? Or am I barking up the wrong tree? If so, that would be a terrific matchup. ;-D

Have a great time!

;-D on both of those. :-D

I hope they toy with the Phils and keep it close for a little while (through the first would be OK) so you can stay at the park. :-b

there seems to be alot of cardinal fans because they are some of the most active members and all sport Cardinal Sig/Avatars. If you hang around enough you will find alot of redsox/yankee fans that do not have their colors flyings. There are a few diehardcubbies (no pun intended :-B ) on here though to keep the balance of good vs evil

True. There are probably about the same number of Cub and Cardinal regulars around here, but both are dwarfed by the fair-weather Yank/sox fans. :-D Oh and the reason we can have the sigs and avs is because we're not embarassed by the performance of our team. Image
