Whats the deal. Borowski, Rincon, Street, Tsao, Crain and Marte are all available. Is he gonna be the closer??? Hermanson got the go tonight and looked good. Any news on the situation???

The White Sox are an anomaly. They have the best record in baseball while being led by one of the worst managers in the game. Hermanson has been stellar all season and should be the closer without question. But he insists on going with a closer by rotation, using he says whoever is pitching the best and has the best match-up. So if you have Takatsu you may as well keep him and hope he regains his form. I think they would prefer him to be the full time closer.

I just waived him to take a flier on Walker. I really need a second closer and I doubt Takatsu will be it...

Since April 25th:
Takatsu 4 g, 2 sv, 0 bs, 2 losses, 3 1/3 IP, 5.4 ERA, 6 K, 1.5 WHIP
Hermanson 8 g, 5 sv, 0 bs, 0 losses, 9 2/3 IP, 0 ERA, 4 K, .72 WHIP

Takatsu's getting hit and currently Hermanson isn't. Guillen has expressed concern with teams that see him more than a few times, which doesn't bode well for his fantasy value. Tak does strike out a few more, but that's about the only positive right now.
