yeah, i'm curious, too. 8 for his last 19 with 2 ding-dongs. i've read conflicting reports, ranging from nice average-no power to occasional contact-big power. the only consistent thing i've heard is that he's crap on defense, be it at his natural first base or at third base.

anybody have a good read on how the kid's going to play out for fantasy purposes?

My take on Atkins is if you have a roster spot, play him at Coors
at sit him on the road-like many Rockies.
