the past few games he's been hitting the ball with better contact and drive.. and the walks are still there so it doesn't seem as though he's pressing. probly just another one of those slumps players go through. just be patient and wait for him to get on one of his rolls, it'll come.
Until they remake a crappy, "modern" version of the movie and cast numb-nuts as the lead actor. When that happens, drop it like it's hot.
Seriously, you stay with him and you stay with him. Pretend he's the entire Yankees team. Do you really think that whole team is going to keep up the lackluster performance? Same goes for him.
he has shown some life the last few games. he'll be fine. (sooner rather than later)
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

I'd do the same, but I'd also keep a close eye. He has been looking better, and you might find yourself putting him back in the lineup soon.
There's no way you drop a #5 hitter in that lineup with a resume like Matsui. I wouldn't trade him either, since you won't get good value. Be patient, he'll get his 30-100.
