Rolen had surgery today....out 4-to-6 weeks

NEW YORK -- St. Louis Cardinals third baseman Scott Rolen had arthroscopic surgery Friday to repair a small tear in the labrum of his left shoulder.

Dr. George Paletta, the Cardinals' team physician, diagnosed the injury and performed the surgery at Barnes West Hospital in St. Louis.

For the love of God...this blows. First he wasn't hitting and now shoulder surgery? Gah! My team can't afford to lose his bat.

I had some jerk in one of my leagues try to deal Rolen to me right after the injury was announced. If I can't win that league, my secondary objective is making sure that guy doesn't, either.
