If there is one thing Baker loves to do, it is replace a player performing just fine for another player.
I'd be shocked if Hermanson wasnt relegated back to the set-up role when Burowski returns.

I guess people are rather confused.
Dusty Baker is the CUBS manager.
Joe Borowski is a CUBS pitcher.
Dustin Hermanson is a WHITE SOX pitcher.
The Cubs... and the White Sox... although they do play in the same city, are indeed two different teams.
Just to recap; Cubs = Dusty Baker/Joe Borowski and ChiSox (That means Chicago White Sox, btw.) = Dustin Hermanson.
kk? Good.

DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL, LOL, LOL
I had both teams right in my head at least. Just came out wrong in words.
Burowski will be giving the role for the Cubs.
I'd be surprised if Hermanson stays the primary closer.
I'm glad we cant make eye contact on the forum.

What a bizarre thread.
Ok, here's what I see. Hermanson seems to be inching past Takatsu, but for now it's a revolving door where Ozzie goes with the freshest arm. So, since Hermanson got the call today, look for Takatsu if the WS are in a save situation Thursday. Marte is also involved to a lesser extent.
Across town, I expect Borowski to claim the role of closer, and I do not expect him to do well, as he isn't that good. Nonetheless, he is their best option.
-----------
Shows you what I know. The fact Hermanson went back to back would at least indicate he's now the front man, though I'm pretty sure Takatsu will still get opps as well.

This is one of the reasons I read threads from start to finish. I fell out of my chair laughing. Good stuff.
I am just hoping Turnbow can hang onto his job when Izzy returns.
