Cool. Do you think he's gonna be the same? I mean, who would have thought. A pitcher on steriods. Where and why would he need the extra muscle mass?

I'm really not sure. I think a pitcher like Rincon would use steroids more for shortening his recovery time between outings so that he can go out there every night without having to rest as much, and without getting as tired. That said, I'm not sure how he'll be affected. I'm gonna keep him on my bench, and see how he looks in his first few outings.

I take it that you guys don't believe him that he took a supplement that had something in it to make him test positive? You think it was steroids? I don't know what I believe either, I was just wondering what your opinion was.

I bet it was something else. Not saying steriods aren't of use to pitchers- they most definitely are. Just saying that MLB and Rincon were both quite Mumm about was what exactly he tested positive for. Rincon seemed to imply in his comments that it wasn't "performance enhancing", which might explain how emotional he was over it. Maybe he was just into a bit of cocaiainneennennenenenenen the night before? :-o

Good point, this definetly could be the case. I just accused him of steriods because those are all the rage nowadays.

I will have him pitching for me as soon as he becomes available. If they were steroids, do you really believe they would be out of his system in 10 days. I don't condone steroids, but I also don't condone losing. If the commish says he can play, I'll take the points.
