Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

I predict the Japanese win it all. Really, I do. I bet they will get very excited to show the rest of the world what they can do and every single player will play to their limit. All the other countries which think they will run away with it like the DR, Venezuela, and USA will have all MLB guys who will go with little to prove and think it's just spring training (b/c it will be).

Oh, and for their line up it will be:

OF: Ichiro
OF: Matsui
SS: Matsui:
rest: no idea

I actually thought that a baseball tournament for Spring Training would be a good idea and give extra incentive to non-regulars to perform at a competitive level so this is a nice surprise.

The only thing is, this might distract the players and also increases the chances of them getting hurt. Also, ST is time when players are jockeying for PT and a roster spot so who knows how this tourney would affect those things.

Definitely a good PR move and it will draw more interest. Will root for the South Korea team.

if you go to mlb.com they have whats going on with people's tem and everything, its on page 2...

i wil take the American team over the Domincan team, cause even though they have superior pitching give me a healthy schilling, Rj, and clemens in a short series... especially schilling the best big game pitcher going, and also Lidge is a far better closer then dotel...

and i would start jeter, i mean who do you guys wanna start at short over jeter, i wil take Jeter's clutch everything and play arod at third....
how did colon win the cy young??

the world is comming to an end...woody paige has a Hall of Fame vote
