I meant in that scenario it was dumb. He had already gone on 4 of the previous 6 days and it wasn't as though the game was even tied up. By using him in that situation, Yost could have been without him in a save situation over one of the next two or three days.

Turnbow has got the closer's role locked up. He's been pitching so well that he'll hold onto the job even if he stumbles in a few outings. So far, we've seen very little (if any) of the control problems that have haunted him his entire career. His owners probably picked him up for dirt from the FA list (I did) and might end up with a very nice ride.
