Yanks May Ask Giambi To Go To Minors!

Umm, Tino has 8 jacks which places him amoung the league leaders I believe.

Do you actually think it's smarter to play Giambi at 1st? Everyday? Actually screw everyday...play him at all? The man is a joke.

The Yankees are on a 3 (probably 4 now) game win streak. They're playing their best baseball all year. Tino is the hottest hitter in the lineup at the present time.

The best thing that could happen would be for Giambi to blow out his knee and go on the DL for the next 4 years. Would save us money and get rid of the roid-boy waste. Where is Tonya Harding anyway?

An even more expensive Major Leaguer factoring in what he costs you in lack of production.

I love this. Let George spend another 100 million and maybe he can get the team up to 3rd place in there division. :-D

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

After being asked whether he would accept an assignment to Triple-A, Jason Giambi indicated that he'd think about it.
If the Yankees are able to send Giambi down, they'd remove him from the 40-man roster. That would allow them to save $37,000 per day, as they only pay the luxury tax on players currently occupying spots on the 40-man roster.

You BETTER accept it there Jason.

Too bad the Yanks' Triple-A affiliate is in the International League. I might have been able to witness the humiliation first-hand. :-D
