Just read this on Rotoworld. I think it is rediculous that it is being called a shoulder sprain. Bagwell will probably have to have reconstructive surgery on his shoulder when he retires. And speaking of retiring, anything is possible now that he cant swing a bat. Too bad, he would have reached 500 HR easily.
Astros placed first baseman Jeff Bagwell on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 4, with a right shoulder sprain.
A sprain? Obviously, it's a lot more than a sprain that has been ailing Bagwell the last few years. Mike Lamb will take over as the Astros' primary first baseman, with Jose Vizcaino probably starting against lefties for now. Time will tell whether this is the end for Bagwell. Whether it is or not, he belongs in the Hall of Fame. May. 10 - 4:11 pm et

Yeah, I knew there was a reason I avoided him like the herp. Can't be good news for Houston fans or Bagwell owners.

Lamb is playing first tonight, so it looks like Berkman will not get that 1b eligibility.

Just dropped him for Dusten Hermanson.
Needed some saves, and I have Lee at 1st, what you guys think of that move?
