Whats your thoughts on O. Cabrera?

Any reason I should have him on my roster with Jeter starting?

I am quite ready to cut ties with him. Picked him up off the WW when he got cut two weeks ago hoping he might pick it up, but seems to me he is still living off the 2003 season.

Am I missing anything?

I've always thought he was a little overrated myself, especially this year with the move to ANA. I think he will eventually heat up enough for you to get good value in return in a trade, though, so don't panic and drop/trade him right now unless you absolutely need the roster space.

It all depends on your roster and league size, but he has just been blah so far. I don't see any reason for having backup SS unless you have Nomar on your roster. Get rid of him and use the spot for a pitcher.

Sooner or later he'll put together a good week or two. When that happens, try trading him for a pitcher that's slumping at that time. Also, look at the other teams in your league that are weak at SS and target some of their pitchers for your opportunity. Two weeks ago I was able to trade Vidro and O.Cabrera for Marcus Giles and Radke. See if you can do the same type of thing.
