Freel: what do you think?

He's starting to really get PT, but I won't go so far as to say he's a regular. I think eventually, Lopez will be at SS, Freel/Jimenez at 2b, Kearns/Pena at RF and Aurilia on the bench. Aurilia's welcome is quickly being worn out in Cincy.

I like Freel a lot. I love the 2b, 3b, and OF eligibility. According to some fantasy mag I picked up, he's one of the fastest in the league and is expected to steal a ton of bases. The .300+ average is a plus.

But it's frustrating with him not playing every day. I'm at work all day and the comps here don't have Flash 7, so I can't view the lineups at MLB.com. God I hate starting people who don't play. I had to drop him but I'm going to grab him again next time I have an open roster spot.

now I'm in Toronto, but the first time I used the forum, I was teaching in Korea.

Would you start Freel at 2B?

I like Freel alot.

He bats leadoff so he'll score alot of runs. Hit for avg. Steal around 30 bases all year.

I'd start as long as Pena is out. Once he is back check to see if Jimenz is still getting playing time.
