With Tampa being all terrible and such, when do you think he'll be called up again, I could REALLY use his SB's. Does anyone know how he's doing in the minors?

I don't think he'll be called up too soon...Sanchez is playing pretty well recently

He's hitting .259/.364/.365 with a 24/13 K/BB in 85 AB and 17 SB (and 0 CS).

I haven't read any plans to call him up anytime soon. Personally, based on their reluctance to play him (as evidenced by the Sanchez signing), I think they'll end up trading him. Just my opinion, but I simply don't see why he'd be any worse than Sanchez and, therefore, why he is in AAA.

For some reason TB doesn't have any faith in Gathright. There have been plenty of chances to get him some playing time in the majors and everytime they did whatever they could to keep him in the minors. I hope they trade him because it has become pretty obvious that he isn't going to be playing in the majors for TB.

I sincerely hope he is traded out of TB. Lou has blocked his arrival for the past couple years and one of them will have to go for Gathright to blossom.

Personally, the yankees, Orioles and Rangers could use a speedy CF that can leadoff. Imagine how he would do fronting those powerful offenses.

We Gathright owners can only hope for a trade at this point and it just might happen because CF is such a thin position around the majors.
