what has he done for people to expect him to fall apart again? it's all i ever here. he had one bad year for a bad phils team (a given i know). he may not get a ton of chances and he will blow a couple just like most closers not named gagne or rivera (in the past). he's always been good he just had one tough year (look at what worrell is going through in philly now). the only concern i would see would be his age.
the real jose mesa is the pretty solid closer that puts up a good amount of saves on bad teams. period.

I certainly did. I don't really care what the general "feeling" is when it comes to Mesa -- he's putting up good numbers, and that's all that matters.
