and has a nasty breaking ball to boot. But I guess he's one of those that only has a general idea of where the ball is going when it leaves his hand.

I only watched one inning tonight, and I can see how he would have control problems, but is it not possible this guy could string a few starts similar to this together?

well it WAS possible up until about 45 minutes ago. Nobody has reported it yet but there is very bad news in the Cabrera department. I am not sure if they are trying to cover it up or what but it HAS to come out soon.

Steroids? No, dont they wish thats all it was!
Injury? No not that either
Arrested for drugs? ummmm no but he may as well do that now

BEEEEEP BEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEP!!!!!! BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!THIS JUST IN........INKcogKNEEdough has picked cabrera up off the waiver wire . O's teamates are saying all the right things.......

Rafael Palmiero said "i hope he can keep it going and if not I suggest viagra!"

Sammy sosa said " he is still a young enough man to overcome this . He has a ton of talent and throws the ball quite well. I am very proud of him and hope to play with him for years to come.".......

When sosa was asked wheter it would be worse to have this happen or get caught using steroids he immediately replied "steroids? me sorry me no speaky eennnglays!" before walking away.

It is not yet clear whether the O's will go ahead and outright him to the minors now or wait for the impending implosion.

stay tuned for more updates as they come in......we now return you to your regularly scheduled programming........

I picked him up as well. I watched his game, the guy has some amazing stuff and was consistently 98-99. He is risky but his potential is plentiful enough to pick up in a 14 team league.

i watched his last outing against the jays and he was great...so about 2 hours before the game today i thought...bah...why not...picked him up and started the lad...luckly he played really well. ;-D

he's got great stuff...gotta stop walking guys... and a little consistency wouldn't be too bad either...but hey...don't we all want our hitters to hit a homer a day?

hopefully he can keep this up... :-o
